Top Veterinary care given at all times. Professional evaluation and attention to detail are always given at every visit. The mobile vet van is clean and well equipped. Dr. Ginny’s care of my senior agility dog (Koda) has been nothing short of phenomenal. He is healthy and able to fully enjoy life in his senior years despite having a potential life altering infection to his lower spine. He is on a maintenance program prescribed by Dr. Ginny that keeps him fit, healthy and strong. At age 10 1/2 he is still competing in agility and goes hiking with us in the Sierra.
Here I am at the start of 2026 looking back at 2025….Wow! what a year :0)
I continue to be surprised by how very busy I have been just trying to keep up with the business and 2025 was the year I realized I can be as busy as I want to be. I exhausted myself trying to keep up and do all the things. By the end of the year, I found myself tired but happy. I have met so many wonderful pets and their amazing owners. I have seen amazing improvements and have seen some well-loved pets cross over the rainbow bridge.
In reflecting on my year and in planning for 2026 I came to a few conclusions:
I love what I do and wish there was more of me to go around so I could help everyone…but I can’t :0(
I miss practicing regular small animal veterinary medicine. I was so busy, my time in the clinic was limited.
I missed my home life. I love my husband and am so happy he was able to take over so much at home to allow me to figure things out this year. I miss having lazy days at home with him and the dogs.
So, for 2026 I made a few changes:
I have scheduled hiking days with my dogs and date days with my husband to be sure I don’t allow myself to be too busy to slow down. We have set up vacations and time alone to be sure it doesn’t get lost in the hustle and bustle. Included in this, is to continue my goal to just enjoy my time doing agility for as long as possible with the crazy puppy, Kitsune, and my heart dog, Trouble.
I tried to be sure I had more time at the clinic, although, that one was tough :0)
I opened up my schedule for scheduled days here in Camino to help those that need more one on one attention or can’t make the Sporting Dog Treatment Days.
I decided to no longer provide exercise/conditioning programs. I just don’t feel I have time to do them justice and my time is better spent being able to provide more hands-on time and allowing others that specialize in these online programs to help my fantastic patients :0)
I love you all and thank you so much for making my life so amazing and memorable :0)
